In 2003, the exhibitors' comprehensive range of products and services was matched by the trade visitors' excellent qualifications.
  
Analysis of the exhibitor survey
Wind Power Asia 2003 attracted more than 50 exhibitors and 26 technical presentations.

Origin of exhibitors
The exhibitors came from 17 countries and regions:
Australia, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Pakistan, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United States.

 

Visitor quality
91% of the exhibitors said the quality of the visitors was "Excellent to good".

New business contacts
69% of the exhibitors reported making excellent or good contacts at the fair.

Infrastructure: 18%
Project Operators: 4%
Consultants: 2%

    

Overall assessment
95% of the exhibitors were positive about Wind Power Asia 2003. 81% said their results were "Excellent to good".

Renewed participation
83% of the exhibitors intend to take part in Wind Power Asia in 2004.

 

Analysis of the visitor survey
Wind Power Asia 2003 attracted 3268 trade visitors from China and other Asian countries. 

Origin of visitors
In addition to the trade visitors from all over China, we took pleasure in welcoming a highly qulified trade public from abroad: 97% from Asia (86% from China). A large number of visitors came from overseas and did good business.

Visitors' objectives
Visitors said their main objectives were general market orientation (38%), information on/search for new products and services (43%) and further training/knowledge enhancement (19%).
