AEROTEST ASIA 2006: “THE PROFESSIONALS SHOW”

AEROTEST ASIA 2006 - The Asian International Exhibition &
Conference on Aerospace Testing Equipment and Technologies Will Be Launched in China on May 25th to 29th 2006 at China International Exhibition Center

2006 will witness the establishment of AEROTEST ASIA on May 25th to 29th 2006 at China International Exhibition Center. The event will provide a unique opportunity for the manufacturers and suppliers of testing equipment and technologies for aerospace industry to meet the increasing needs of the booming aircraft market in China.

China's civil aircraft market will show a big boom according to a latest forecast on China's aviation market development in the coming 20 years provided by China Aviation Industry Corporation.

The report said that with the rapid development of China's tourism industry, China's impending entry to the World Trade Organization, the holding of 2008 Olympics games, the strategy for western development and the regrouping of domestic airlines will all benefit China's air transportation market. As predicted from 2001 to 2020, the average growth rate for China's passenger transportation will reach 8.3 percent, higher than the average growth rate of the world air transportation over the same period and China will be the most potential market in the world.

By 2020, China is expected to have 1,852 passenger planes, and 538 will be planes to fly on feeder-lines. Considering the increasing needs for transportation volume and current planes to quit from service, China Aviation Administration will replenish a total of 1,690 planes in the coming 20 years, with 79.6 percent of which to be used for meeting the needs of transportation growth and 20.4 percent for replacing junk planes.
